Any person with a Post Graduate degree in Social Work or Sociology or Psychology or Child Development OR a graduate with minimum three years of experience in child education and envelopment or protection issues.
Provided that in accordance with Rule 5(6) of the POCSO Rules 2020, an entity qualified to act as a support person may also include an organization actively engaged in the realm of child rights and child protection. Additionally, an official associated with a children home or shelter home responsible for the custody of the child may also be eligible to apply an a Support person
